What is the menu for today's lunch? I haven't think of any menu yet. I Don't know what to cook for lunch so let's googling new recipi to be tried out. Before we continue cooking, how about we meet with this brand new Medela Freestyle Siblings. So, to all Medela freestyle fans, this is some reviews on parts of Medela Freestyle. Do enjoy reading till the end =)
1. This is
Compact Pump which is the motor of Medela Freestyle . To control the level of suctions, you only have to press the button - or +. Since Medela freestyle has
2-Phase Expression Technology, it mimic the way baby sucks mother's breasts. When pumping, you can go back to the stimulation stage by pressing the let down button (the drop milk button). The motor also has memory, so to mark the comfartable level of stimulation and expression phase just press the memory button for 3 seconds.
2. This is Breastshield Spare Part that consists of Connector Body, Membrane, dan Back Cap. Double Pump Breastshield spare part have to be attached with the tubing at the back of the Back Cap. Note that after cleaning the pump, make sure the hole for tubing at the back cap is dry to avoid water entering the tubing when you are expressing milk.
3.This Transparent Tubing should be connected to Compact Pump dan Breastshield spare part at different ends.
4. As you already known, the new packaging of Medela Freestyles provides 2 pairs of PersonalFit Breastshileds instead of SoftFit Breastshields. The best thing is these two pairs have different size to accomodate different mothers' breast size. So, the PersonalFit Breastshields come in size M (24mm) and size L (27mm).
5. For this set, you will get 4 BPA-free Breastmilk Bottle with lids, one Slow Flow Wide Base Nipple and Travelling Cap for feeding or storage. So it really good to get these 4 bottle as you can save up for 4 bottles. :)
6. The above picture is Contoured Ice Pack which can last up to 12 hours. So, the Contoured Ice Pack might be still cold when you reach home from work. This kind of gel ice pack will ensure no leaking as the outer cover of the ice pack is made by hard plastic. =)
7. Not forgetting you will also get Contoured Ice Pack along with this Removable Cooler Bag. So, you dont have to buy new one unless you want to fill in with more than 4 breastmilk bottles since this cooler bag can only carry 4 Breastmilk Bottle together with Contoured Ice Pack at a time.
8. Why Medela Freestyle? Because it has a superb Handsfree Equipment to ease your pumping session when you are busy doing other things. The handsfree equipment includes Hands-free Kit handsfree straps that have top and bottom straps. It is clipped to the bra, Therefore to secure the hansfree straps top and bottom, you will need Bra Adapters Hook and Eyes as well as Bra Adapters Universal.
9. Support Belt and Extension are used with handsfree Kit. It is adjustable waist belt to clip freestyle into for mobility.
10. The left picture is a Power Cord or Charger which has 240 volt and it is suitable to be used in Malaysia. The right picture is a Rechargeable Lithium -ion Battery which can lasts up to 3 hours. So, you are able to express milk at the office three times and each session only takes 15 minutes to finish. So you can recharge the baterry on weekend. And also you can use charger battery when you are driving if you do not have any car adapter.
11. In this new set you will also get Storage Labelling Lids to track and label EBM. It has track-and-lock lids in order to mark days of the week, expression time frame, am pm or midday.
